David "Dysomnia" Nachmany found music as an inspirational passion from the tender and early yearsof his life, growing up in a household full of music from different countries, cultures, and genres. Itwas almost a given that he would turn this wide understanding and appreciation of music he had been raised with, into something bigger. At the young age of 11, Dysomnia had received his first DJ dec kand began learning his way around it.

Throughout the next several years, he fought his way intoperforming atevery major club in New York City, allowing him to bend styles and genres that manyartists at the time wouldn’t dare pursue or experiment with. This great risk surely paid off as he wenton to support some of the largest names in the music industry, including The Chainsmokers, MartinGarrix, Hardwell, Major Lazer, R3HAB, Lil Jon, and many other notable names. During his time in NewYork, Dysomnia frequently performed at Tao Group’s landmark venue “Marquee”, as well as manyothers across the city. In addition, he was a resident DJ at the infamous Pacha NYC.

Fast-forward to 2020, Dysomnia took a leap of faith and moved to Miami, Florida, a place he had always wanted tolive in. Currently, he is now a resident at several of the most respected and hottest venues in the city.Notably, he started his Miami move by taking the role of head resident DJ at Major Food Group’s“HaSalon Miami,” for the first 2 years of its inception, where he would curate and blend a mix of hisMiddle Eastern and Moroccan flare by playing both current and throwback hits of a multitude ofgenres. Combining English, Spanish, and French music and pairing them with other languages andcultures during his sets has stood Dysomnia apart from other DJs. From there, Dysomnia became aresident DJ with Groot Hospitality, where he performs weekly at Komodo, Swan, Strawberry Moon,and Gekko! In October of 2023, Dysomnia took on a residency at the prestigious “Bagatelle Miami”.

Along with playing at wonderful establishments in Miami, Dysomnia also frequently travels out of the country to DJ high end weddings in Europe and South America. Dysomnia’s career has spanned manyyears and he continues to shine in every capacity and magnitude possible creating ripples of successand fan-filled support within thebustling music scene. With almost 20 years under his belt, therelooks to be no end in sight for his continued efforts to provide happiness to crowds everywhere!
